Overview
APSS is an active dtic cost-sharing grant for agro-processing investments in six sub-sectors (food and beverage, furniture, fibre, feed, fertilizer, essential oils). It reimburses 30 percent of qualifying investment below R10 million or 20 percent above R10 million, capped at R20 million over two years, with a possible extra 10 percent for expansion projects meeting all four economic-benefit criteria. Since 1 June 2026 applications go through the dtic Online Incentive Solution portal.
