TIKZN Export Development and Promotion Support
TIKZN Export Development and Promotion Support is a incubation programme from Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal for growth, established businesses in KwaZulu-Natal. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Overview
Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal helps KZN businesses start and grow exporting through training workshops, an emerging-exporter programme, export-readiness assessments, trade missions and exhibition support - these are services, not a cash grant. Two limited cost-sharing incentives exist alongside them: BEEFA covers 60 percent of travel and accommodation to foreign markets for approved applicants, and the Technical Assistance Fund offers a non-repayable grant of up to 50 percent of project-packaging costs (max R250,000, or R300,000 for majority black female, youth or disabled-owned firms). Start at the TIKZN export portal (exportkzn.co.za).
Programme details last verified on 12 June 2026.
