SEDFA Wholesale Lending (via intermediaries)

SEDFA lends to financial intermediaries - microfinance institutions, retail financial intermediaries, specialised funds and banks - who then on-lend to small businesses. Intermediaries can borrow up to R150 million; the loans they pass on to end-user SMEs go up to R5 million (micro-loans of R50,000 to R100,000 via MFIs). If you run an SME you do not apply here directly - you access this money through one of the SEDFA partner lenders; if you run a lending institution, apply via the SEDFA online portal.
